Inaugural Dessert Club Meeting

Wow, what a night.  Excitement and blood sugar ran high.  This was our first night meeting together with the express purpose of making delicious desserts and tasting them all.  Imagine that requirement - not only were there many desserts to choose from, but you HAD to taste all of them.  It was both wonderful and difficult!

 Passion Fruit Creme Brulee - Heather C. (THE WINNER!)

 Orange Scones - Rebecca

 French Macarons - Ellen

 Chocolate Dacquoise Mousse Cake - Heather P. (mine)   Incidentally, I was so busy with all of the setting up, etc. that I forgot to take a close-up of my own dessert!  I had to blow this up from a picture of the whole table.  Duh!

Recipes for some of these luscious desserts will follow.  It was really hard picking a winner with so many different kinds of desserts.  There were a number of them that had a lot of votes, but alas, a winner must be picked.  Stay tuned for next month, when we explore the possibilities of candy!
